Enterprise Architecture: Back to the Future
In this fast moving world is there time for Enterprise Architecture? What contribution can Enterprise Architecture make to the future digital world and what is its own future? This presentation will highlight the challenges and the ever expanding demands on Enterprise Architecture that will shape the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this age of rapid automation we ask and seek answers to the question of how are world governments rising to the challenge of mass automation and what benefits will emerge for the citizen. Are we ready for the Digital Economies? What is the effect on industries and individual businesses? We consider how will organizations structure themselves to capitalise on the automation opportunities and become the winners on the way to the Digital Age – a critical question being raised in every boardroom now. And what difference will new technologies make in this digital world and how important are they in the world of Enterprise Architecture. As we open up new business areas and create standards what role will Enterprise Architecture play and how will it make a difference to the digital economies. In the future what will be the expectations placed on the Enterprise Architects and will Solutions Architects still exist or will they fade away to be replaced by Digital Architects? The digital future is very exciting – and we need to get it right or it can go very wrong. These are questions we need to explore and come up with answers soon because the world is moving that fast.
Are we ready?
